The internationally recognised Wine Tourism Experience offer by La Motte has received further acknowledgement during the announcement of the 2016 results of the annual Great Wine Capitals of the World Best of Wine Tourism Competition in Bilbao, Spain.
La Motte won the South African category for Wine Tourism Service for its excellence in the cellar door service offering. Criteria include a diverse, memorable and personal experience where visitors can interact with the product, winemaker and tourism experience first-hand. Criteria also include aspects of the overall tourism experience, such as the comfort of the venues and facilities, signage and knowledgeable, personable staff.
