Barista/Bartender
La Motte Wine Estate in the Franschhoek Valley requires a vibrant person, with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to join the team in the Bakery.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- prepare and serve a variety of beverages including wine, cocktails, coffees and teas in accordance with standard recipes
- maintain accurate inventory levels by performing regular stock counts
- perform regular checks and basic maintenance on operating equipment to ensure it is functioning optimally
- maintain a clean and organised bar area, adhering to strict health and safety standards
- stay up to date on the latest trends in the beverage industry and adapt techniques accordingly
- provide amemorable customer experience, ensuring satisfaction through prompt service and a friendly demeanour
Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following:
- minimum 2 years’ proven experience as a Barista/Bartender
- excellent knowledge of wine, coffee brewing techniques and cocktail preparation
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- attentive to detail
- ability to multitask and stay
organised under pressure - passionate about customer service
- willingness to work weekends and Public Holidays

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- manage and maintain the online stores for both brands
- oversee product listings, pricing, photography, descriptions, and online promotions
- plan and execute digital campaigns to drive traffic, conversions, and online sales
- coordinate with logistics teams and courier partners to ensure timely order fulfillment
- monitor and manage customer interactions to ensure a seamless and positive shopping experience
- engage directly with customers to build brand loyalty and repeat sales
- coordinate and participate in DTC events, tastings, and activations, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand experience

- degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- at least 3 years’ experience in a similar e-commerce or DTC role
- proven success managing online sales platforms and digital marketing campaigns
- excellent written and verbal communication skills

- excellent customer relationships
- a proactive and positive attitude with a passion for customer engagement

Logistics Coordinator
Historic Wines of the Cape in the Franschhoek Valley requires a Logistic Coordinator to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- management of all aspects of stock control
- processing of purchase orders
- liaison with customers and suppliers
- follow-up of stock levels for new orders
- shipping documentation

- matric certificate
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar position
- excellent organising skills
- professional appearance and conduct
- strong working discipline with ability to handle pressure
- experience in the wine industry will be advantageous
