Baker
La Motte Artisanal Bakery and Garden Café requires a vibrant person, with an abundance of energy and enthusiasm to join the team as a Baker.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- handcraft a variety of artisan breads
- utilise traditional baking techniques
- work with a range of natural ingredients and maintain the integrity of the products
- stock control
- assisting in general kitchen
- adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- maintaining a clean and organised workspace

- grade 12
- minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
- proven experience as an artisan baker, with understanding of traditional and modern baking methods

ERP Support Assistant
We are seeking a dynamic ERP Support Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERP software, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a customer-focused approach to resolving issues.
Job Responsibilities:
- user support on financial and Point of Sale Systems
- maintain and update Master Data
- month end reporting
- design and generate reports
- provide data for audits
- integrations between systems
- all other ad hoc system and administrative related tasks
Requirements for position:
- 1-2 years’ experience in end-user support on ERP/financial systems (MS Dynamics NAV/Business Central will be an advantage)
- matric and an appropriate tertiary qualification – accounting as subject required
- knowledge of Point of sale systems (Lightspeed) will be an advantage
- advanced MS excel skills
- knowledge of Jet reports will be an advantage
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- ability to work under pressure
- deadline and result driven

We are looking for a responsible, professional, and dependable Messenger/Driver to join our team in the Franschhoek Valley.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- delivering documents, packages, and other items to specified locations
- safely drive clients to their destinations (including airports, events, meetings, or other locations)
- ensuring all deliveries are made promptly and safely
- handling and maintaining packages and documents with care
- ensure that the vehicle is driven in compliance with road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies
- keeping records of deliveries and collections
- conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any incidents to Management
- communicating effectively with Management about delivery statuses
- assisting with other general office or administrative tasks, if required

Product Development and Curation Specialist
We are seeking a creative and strategic Product Development and Curation Specialist to join our team at La Motte. This role requires an individual who is passionate about locally crafted lifestyle products and has a keen eye for quality, design, and trend curation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- lead the development of new luxury lifestyle products, from in-depth conceptualization through to production and visual merchandising
- collaborate with internal teams and external design agencies, artisans, and manufacturers to create products that embody the brand’s ethos
- curate a cohesive selection of local lifestyle products
- represent the brand’s values in product choices, ensuring every item feels authentic
- build and maintain relationships with suppliers, artisans, and manufacturers to secure high-quality materials and products
- conduct market research to stay informed of luxury lifestyle trends and consumer preferences
- work with and train staff to ensure seamless integration of products into the Farm Shop, enhancing the overall customer experience

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- general office duties and administration
- diary management
- setting up meetings and taking minutes
- handling telephone enquiries
- managing petty cash and performing monthly reconciliations
- processing invoices
- processing logbooks
- liaison with suppliers
- assistance with ethical audits (WIETA, IBW, IPW)
- all other administrative duties and tasks related to this position
