Marketing Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- develop and implement distinct marketing strategies for La Motte Wine Estate and Leopard’s Leap Wines
- manage brand positioning, messaging and visual identity
- manage brand presence across digital platforms, packaging, events, hospitality, and retail
- oversee direct-to-customer strategies and loyalty programs
- support domestic and international trade and export marketing campaigns
- drive hospitality and tourism marketing for estate offerings and experiences
- compile and manage marketing budget and ensure return on marketing investment
- lead a high-performing marketing team
Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following:
- * a relevant tertiary qualification (Bcom Marketing Management or similar)
- 5-8 years’ senior marketing experience
- proven success in digital and traditional marketing campaigns
- experience in multi-brand strategy and management
- strategic thinker with strong leadership skills
- creative, detail-oriented, and highly organised
- strong communication and storytelling abilities
- a passion for wine, food, art, and hospitality

Wine Tasting Ambassador
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- welcoming of guests to the La Motte Tasting Room
- sharing information about La Motte and its products, the Franschhoek area, and the South African wine industry
- presenting wine-tastings and cellar tours
- handling of wine sales and relevant administration
- assisting with marketing activities
Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following:
- the ability to offer visitors a special “La Motte experience”
- sound knowledge of wine
- experience in a similar position will be advantageous
- general knowledge regarding Franschhoek, South Africa and the wine and tourism industries
- computer literacy
- willingness to work on scheduled Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays

Creditors Clerk
Historic Wines of the Cape in the Franschhoek Valley are seeking a detail-oriented Creditors Clerk to join our Finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- total creditor administration
- monthly reconciliations
- capturing and processing of invoices
- prepare and execute payment runs to suppliers
- maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- handling of supplier inquiries
- filing
- ad hoc tasks
The following criteria apply
- at least four years of experience in a similar position
- appropriate tertiary qualification
- outstanding communication skills
- ability to work accurately
- strong work discipline, with the ability to cope under pressure
- thorough administrative and numeracy skills
- excellent computer proficiency
