L’Ami Family Brasserie

L’Ami Family Brasserie invites friends and families to enjoy each other’s company while sharing delicious food and wine that not only celebrate local and traditional flavours in a modern and informal way, but also incorporate elements of open-fire cooking.


Winter Closures: The L’Ami Family Brasserie will be closed to the public from, Monday 6 July to Monday, 20 July 2026. We will be open from Wednesday, 22 July 2026.

OPEN for Father’s Day, closed over Bastille Weekend.

L’Ami serves an A la Carte menu for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday as well as for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. The seasonal menu celebrates the concept of farm to table and focuses on local and traditional flavours with elements of open-fire cooking. It also offers options for children.

Guests are invited into the spacious and relaxed indoor restaurant or to enjoy the estate gardens and the ambience of the age-old oaks from the wrap-around stoep.

The wine list concentrates on La Motte wines available at cellar door pricing, but also presents South Africa’s lovely diversity with a selection of local wines as well as some European favourites

Warm up with the L’Ami Winter Menu

L'Ami Family Brasserie introduces a set menu for winter that promises to warm you right up! Additional to the regular L’Ami offering, the Winter Menu will be available for both lunch and dinner, from Wednesday to Sunday.

Choose between a two-course or three-course option with a choice of starters, mains and desserts. The menu also includes a glass of wine from the La Motte Reserve Collection with both starter and main course.
