Special Syrah Recipes
Because we love food and wine, we've collected an array of lovely recipes to pair with our various Syrah wines. They include anything from a bumper burger to peppery meatballs and traditional and some non-traditional pies. There are soups - from pocket-friendly barley to exotic aubergine. And we have stews - from a local favourite tomato stew to the French favourites, Cassoulet and Coq au vin! We capitalised on Syrah's affection for spice in a black-pepper and anise tartar, a red Thai curry, cumin-glazed duck and pork roast with spiced pineapple. There's a charred onion tart and spiced pumpkin pie that work a charm as a side to your braai and a chocolaty-fruit bombe dessert to die for!
