With its rich French Huguenot heritage, La Motte celebrates the exciting cultural exchange programme between France and South Africa by adding some French flair to its experiences and activities – from wine to food, art and music.

Wine:
The La Motte Tasting Room will be presenting its elegant wine tastings with French flair, while sharing information about our wines’ French equivalents.

Food:
Pierneef à La Motte Restaurant will add French inspiration to its menu and the bakery will ensure that its beautiful French baguettes are available from the La Motte Farm Shop.

Art:
The La Motte Museum is host to the impressive tapestries and ceramics of acclaimed French artist, Jean Lurçat.

Music:
A classical music concert, presented in the historic cellar on the estate on 3 November, will feature James Grace, whose performance will include works by various French composers.
