Participating in Shiraz South Africa’s Seven Days of Shiraz celebrations, La Motte's 2019 theme for its annual Syrah Experience explores Syrah - from its friends in blends, friends in food and even as the wine to enjoy with your friends.

La Motte's 2019 Syrah and Friends offering invites you to bring your friends for a special Syrah tasting in the estate's elegant Tasting Room during the week of 10 - 14 June. The La Motte Syrah Tasting consists of four wines presented by one of the estate's well-informed and enthusiastic Wine Tasting Ambassadors, showcasing the diversity and versatility of this exceptional variety.

The much-anticipated highlight of the week is presented on Thursday, 13 June. Cellarmaster Edmund Terblanche, Chairman of Shiraz SA, will introduce guests to Syrah's friends in blends while Chef Eric Bulpitt will treat guests to Syrah’s friends in food, both on the estate’s lunch menu as well as on the award-winning Friday morning Wine & Food Tasting.
