La Motte Estate, situated in the Franschhoek Valley, requires a resourceful person with a positive attitude and spontaneous personality to receive guests/visitors in style, present wine-tastings, assist with wine sales and provide information regarding South Africa, Franschhoek, the wine industry and La Motte and its products. Further responsibilities include providing assistance with marketing activities and related administrative tasks.

• the ability to offer visitors a special “La Motte experience”
• an excellent command of English and Afrikaans – spoken and written (a third language will serve as a recommendation)
• sound knowledge of wine (experience in a similar position will be advantageous)
• general knowledge of South Africa and the wine industry
• computer literacy
• willingness to work on holidays, Saturdays and Sundays
