An intimate, 70-seater restaurant with elegant décor and a picturesque garden setting, it is the ideal venue for group events at any time of year. Chef Eric Bulpitt and his team not only offers exceptional cuisine and wine pairings, but also the warm hospitality of the Cape Winelands.
Restaurant areas include:
The Bar Deck. An outside, covered area ideal for the enjoyment of aperitifs and canapés.
The Inside Restaurant: The décor is elegant and understated and the restaurant is equipped with beautiful wooden tables and a variety of upholstered chairs.
The Fireplace: A welcoming fireplace with couches is the central focus of the restaurant in winter.
The Water Deck: An outside, covered area looking out on a small dam, ideal for those enjoying an alfresco glass of wine or coffee.
The Stoep: A more informal part of the restaurant with foldaway glass doors for good weather.
Menu:
The menu and special requirements can be planned with the Restaurant Manager.
Minimum spend is R645 per person and this includes a selection of welcoming canapés and a 3 or 4 course meal.
Please note that a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 70 guests are required.
Drinks and gratuity will be charged additionally.
Dietary requirements have to be communicated before the event.
Wine:
While we gladly recommend the selection of La Motte wines, Pierneef à La Motte Restaurant offers an awarded wine list with an extensive selection of local and international wines, suited to any occasion. Beverages are additional to the price of R645.
Private Functions can be booked for dinner only and are available from Tuesday to Saturday nights.
Please note that a minimum of 35 and a maximum of 70 guests are required. Should your numbers decrease and become less than 35 guests, we will calculate your final dinner menu bill as if for 35 guests.
No venue fee applies.

Kindly note that a 12% gratuity will be added to your final account.
A 50% deposit will be required as confirmation of your booking, and the balance can be settled on the evening.

Speeches are welcome and sound can be arranged at additional cost.
Please note that no dancing is allowed.
White tablecloths can be provided at no extra cost.
Table flower arrangements are allowed, but no installations from the roof, trees, etc.
Furniture are not to be rearranged.
Prior reservation and discussion with the Restaurant Manager are essential.
