It really feels like yesterday when we wished each other a happy 2015… and here we are at the end of yet another year, planning our holidays and Christmas celebrations.

At La Motte, we have much to be thankful for. With a host of accolades and international recognitions we were able to honour our slogan – a culture of excellence!

But we have been blessed with so much more. When we as a family sat down to enjoy Pierneef à La Motte Restaurant’s new Sunday Family Lunch, I realised once again how important friends and family are and how blessed we are to to sit around a table with our loved ones, sharing good food and wine. We need to use these rare moments of quiet to reflect on the past year – not only to measure our performance, but to treasure the beauty of everyday moments, our health and the people close to us.
