The month of May invites you to enjoy all that is moreish and mellow about its slow introduction to winter. It is a month filled with marvelous moments: The charm of Autumn leaves and the warmth of sunny afternoons beg us outdoors. Hearty flavours and winter wines lure us inside.

When days are getting shorter and temperatures are falling, we yearn for rich flavours and creamy textures. The indulgence of comfort food is part of winter’s allure, but there is also a lighter way to stay warm during the slow season.
