We are delighted to announce that La Motte's much-loved classical music concerts are back!
Inspired by owner Hanneli Rupert-Koegelenberg's love for classical music as she was a well-known mezzo-soprano herself, the 2025/2026 summer series commences on 11 October with a seasonal concert entitled, Spring is in the Air by acclaimed pianist and friend of La Motte, François du Toit.
The opening concert will be a welcome return to the stage for La Motte's 1942 model C Steinway piano with a very special programme of Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Debussy and even Strauss!
Guests are welcome to join us in the estate gardens for a glass of wine and some light refreshments between 17:00 and 18:00. The hour-long concert is presented from La Motte’s recently renovated Parshuis or Historic Red Wine Cellar and starts promptly at 18:00. Please note that seating is not reserved.
R350 per person for the concert and hospitality on arrival. Book now!
Make the most of your visit to the Franschhoek Valley and stay for dinner at the estate’s L’Ami Family Brasserie, a short stroll away from the concert venue. Bookings can be made via Dineplan. Please click here.
